Forgot to mark Marital status

Hi to alll here, im a new member in this forum, and. Hopefully somebody can help me.

My husband Filed I 130 for my son, its already mailed, and then when i look at the copy of all the paperwork that we sent i notice that he forgot to mark the marital status?my son is 16.

Is it gonna be a problem, ?can we do something about it?

Worst case - they will RFE you for it or reject the application altogether (easily fixed though).

Best case - they will figure out that a 16 year old from that jurisdiction cannot be married and treat it accordingly. This requires them to put some effort into it though, so the above is more likely.

Hi Hypno, thank you very much for the reply,.. I am just really worried, i dont know how my husband and i missed, especially me, coz i probably check the i130 form many times and dint see it..

I actually i just mailed it today, so let see what happen,.

u ight have rfe or if youre lucky and the lazy ones will adjudicate your paper then they might not see it then and marked it approved goodluck just pray
