When all does the USCIS/NVC contact the beneficiary?

Hello VJ community,

My wife is currently in India. Her mailing address in India is not a reliable one. At what points in the visa process does USCIS/NVC contact the beneficiary directly? Is DS-3032 the only time they will contact her directly?

Someone mentioned that USCIS/NVC can contact the beneficiary via email. How and where do you provide email address of the beneficiary to USCIS/NVC to receive communication via email?

As i have read on VJ. the beneficiary will use their email address to email the DS 3032 to NVC and that is how the NVC have the email address of the beneficiary

When she sends/emails Ds-3032 appointing u as the agent the u will get all the emails from NVC....u could also call NVC and given them her email address.....so far NVC mostly contacts everyone via email if the email address is available to them....

If you sent in the G-1145 with the petition that is how they will have your email address. They will use this to send the case number, Invoice ID number and the DS-3032 to you.

When your beneficiary send the DS-3032 they can get it from that. However, you can also call NVC and give them both email address.
