I have a question concerning my daughter. I am a naturalized US Citizen and i lived only 2 years in the states. For my daughter to become citizen, the requirement is to live in the states 5 years prior to her birth. I am planning on going to the US within a year. Do i need to file an I-130 for my daughter?

I read somewhere that when i'll go through a US port of entry, she will automatically become a citizen....

I am a bit confused,

Thanks for your help

She needs an immigrant visa- with that, she will become a citizen upon entry. If she just visits as a Canadian citizen without visa, no citizenship.
