HELLO , we decided that my wife and my step daughter will move with me in egypt untill we get approval on my case, we filed this past september , got NAO1 on 20 th of september , but she will leave the house she uses now , my questions are :

1- can we change the adress in USCIS to egypt ?

2- does uscis infroms u first of changes in the case or it reaches by mail first ?

3- my step daughter is down syndrom ,needs an open heart surgery , can this considered as emergency to get back with them to usa?

4- will moving delays our case processing ?

5- does leaving usa for my wife as a us citizen affecting her income , stable residence in the states which affects the case ?

6- for us citizens living outside, how can u keep updated with the case of ur spouse ?

i know my q. might be repeated but im really worried , i appreciate ur reply , thx

1. yes you change your address online on the website uscis.gov

go to the bottom right and click

2. Sign up online to check your case status at uscis.gov

At the top left you can put in your case number for uscis and sign up for notifications by email or sms

3. I think if she is ok to fly and travel 24 hours to egypt then her surgery is not an emergency. You can always try for an expedite. You will need to call or email uscis with the request and provide medical proof from her doctor and reports

4. Change of address probably will not delay it

5. Yes, your wife still must prove she lives in the USA to petition you, unless you have a sponsor. She needs a mailing address and maybe bank accounts or she can use her moms address

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1
