L1 to GC - COST and HOW LONG?

Hi Everyone,

I am currently on an L1-B visa but another employer (a Christian Church) has offered me a position and they are willing to sponsor my Green Card. Would you please let me know the average cost and length of process from L1-B visa to GC? Also, could you send me information (links, etc) about the necessary documents that need to be presented both by the employee and the employer?

I had been praying for a Full-Time job in our Church (I don't want to work in the corporate world, anymore) so hope you can help me out.

It would depend which EB category you would fall into.

The paperwork would be handled by the Church's Immigration Lawyer, not something they would likely to have any knowledge of.

If you are a Minister then EB4 would be the one, but I have never seen any comment on this.

So the Church position requires a degree and you have that degree?

H1b's are unusual for Churches, well I have not come across one, but no reason why it could not be done.
