hi everyone! i just have a question on how to renew a employment authorization card. my EAD will expire on January and until now my adjustment of status is still pending. when do i need to renew my ead? and what are the things that i need to do? and erequirements that i need to submit? Please help me if someone already tried to renew theyre EAD/

You can and should file for renewal 120 days (4 months) before it expires, if your I-485 it is based upon is still pending.

You file an I-765 in the normal way, along with a copy of your I-485 NOA and a copy of the front and back of your current EAD. No fee is required.

You send it to the Chicago Lockbox if your I-485 receipt number begins with "MSC" and the Chicago Lockbox is where you previously filed your I-485.
