my wife sent the package to Dallas, Texas in monday with delevery confirmation, she did wrong? because the USPS send a message saying : We attempted to deliver your item at 8:49 am on October 17, 2012 in DALLAS, TX 75266 and a notice was left because an authorized recipient was not available. You may arrange redelivery by visiting...

they will pick up the packet in post office?or she must sent without delivery confirmation?

Hey, I have just replied to you on October Filers thread.

don't worry. USCIS will go to the counter at the post office and pick it up.

Your delivery confirmation requires a signature so that's why they left a notice, they could not find anyone from USCIS at the post office which is normal.

I am sure it will change to "Delivered" by the end of today.

Every bit of important documentation from the USCIS was sent to us via first class mail. Did the same thing to them with all of our applications. Zero problems and saved a couple of bucks.
