Police Certifaction/Certificate

Question: If you are on vacation for three months (Jan Feb Mar 2012) and then go on vacation to the same country again (Nov Dec Jan 2012-13) does this count as 6 months living in that country and would you need a police certificate from that country.

Or does it have to be 6 consecutive months in a row.

Any help with an answer would be helpful.

I believe that it's a continuos six months.

I agree. You will not be needing police certificate if you stayed in that country for less than 6 months.

No. It has to be 6 consecutive months. Vacations of 3 months at a time, don't count.

So, just in case it's not clear. You will NOT need a Police Certificate from a place that you visited 3 months on a vacation and came back to for another 3 months later.
