Hi everybody,

Is it possible to translate the documents by ourselves at NVC Stage ? (birth certificate and police record)

USCIS Stage: 7 Days

07/26/12 - I-130 package sent

07/30/12 - package received

08/01/12 - NOA1 received via email

08/08/12 - APPROVED - NOA2 received via email (USC residing abroad)

NVC Stage

xx/xx/12 - Case has arrived at NVC

xx/xx/12 - Case number received

xx/xx/12 - AOS bill received via email

xx/xx/12 - AOS bill paid via portal & DS3032 accepted

xx/xx/12 - IV bill received and paid. AOS bill appears as PAID.

xx/xx/12 - DS230 and I864 packages

xx/xx/12 - I864 and DS230 sent to NVC

xx/xx/12 - AOS package accepted

10/09/12 - CASE COMPLETE

11/26/12 - Interview Date Assigned

11/28/12 - INTERVIEW DATE - APPROVED

xx/xx/12 - POE

Yes anybody can translate the documents if they know English and Local language.

We will translate the documents in the US,using these people : https://www.foxtranslate.com/checkout/TranslationType

Do you think NVC will accept the translations? We are going through the Nicosia embassy in Cyprus so the documents are definitely not in the consulate local language.

i lost sworn translations of my husband's birth certificate and also the birth certificate. what should i do now? but i have the copies does it work??? i send them ?????

2012-10-29: I-130 Approved (45 days)

2012-11-07: NVC Received (9 days)

2012-11-08: Return Completed DS-3032

2012-11-09: Received DS-3032 / I-864 Bill

2012-11-10: Pay I-864 Bill

2012-11-22: Receive I-864 Package

2012-11-27: Received IV Bill

2012-11-29: Pay IV Bill

2012-12-01: Return Completed I-864

2012-12-01: IV Packet Sent

2012-12-13: AOS package accepted

2013-01-10: IV Accepted

2013-01-10: Case Completed at NVC

2013-01-31: Received Instruction Package

2013-03-06: Interview Date

2013-03-08: Visa Receive

2013-03-28: US Entry
