I was interviewed last September 10,2012 in the US embassy manila. I'm not so sure if I pass or fail the interview:(

The CO didn't say anything that my visa was approved. The last words he mentioned is that: Your papers look good, take your sit and wait for the final instructions. My number was called at window 72, the Filipino employee asked me did the CO fingerprinted you?I said Yes,left index finger. He said OK. Then he asked again if 2Go pickup or delivery? I answered delivery. My fiance was with me during my interview he was confused because I didn't signed or pay anything for the delivery. And I'm not so sure If I did pass the interview. They have my passport and all my other documents like the DS forms. It's been 21 working days since my interview and I'm so worried about this. I don't have my visa yet:(. My friends got their visas 2 weeks after the interview. Have you guys encountered any issues like this? Thanx.

From what I know, you don't have to pay for the delivery of your visa. It's included in the interview fee. But I think it's better to go back to the Embassy to inquire. Or maybe call them. 21 days is too long not unless you're in the boondocks.

They did the same with my wife when she was there, and yes I was with her also, no one said approved just asked about how she wanted her visa delivered and then told us to go home and wait for the visa to be delivered. It took 2 weeks before she got hers and we were in Taguig just outside of Makati.

Thank you;) My fiance called the embassy and they are waiting for the clearance to release the visa. Do you have any idea what clearance is that?

The Embassy sometimes orders their own copy of a CENOMAR, an NBI clearance, or a birth certificate. They are simply double-checking/spot-checking documents. It's usually nothing to worry about, but it will cause a delay in receiving a visa. You should have your visa malapit na.

All files are reviewed one more time after you have the interview with the CO to verify that all is correct, then if there are no issues they authorize the processing of the visa.

When you try to track it with 2GO what are the ways you can track it?

1) Passport number. Is it like "EBXXXXXXX" or some other form?

2) MNL number. Do you use "MNLXXXXXXXXXX" or just "XXXXXXXXXX"?

When I emailed USEM the message I get is "in transit from post" but I'm not able to track it with 2GO. I guess maybe there is a day of delay or something before I can track it?

Thanks!

I think too often people get worried they get denied... I'm sure it is possible but if everything looks good it will be approved. If you are truely engaged to a US citizen odds are you will get the visa. Things that may hurt it is criminal pasts, lack of evidence, being the same originating nationality. I think a lot of people marry a relative that is already a US citizen so that is probably more scrutinized... My fiance seems to not have 100% faith that it will be approved and I keep trying to reassure her that it will be. I've dealt with immigrations before and they aren't out to get everyone, I actually think they are too forgiving if anything. I wouldn't worry it'll come soon enough.

In transit from post means its scheduled for pickup by 2GO give them time to get it off the truck and scan it into their system, it will then show up at your door step...

As for numbers to use; without the MNL, also I have read many times you can use the UID number off the paperwork from the embassy for tracking at 2GO.
