Have been on this journey since febuary 8(noa 1)but i still don't know if the case is moving forward or backward.july 10 received a RFE on case status and reecived in mail on the july 25, and the RFE was mail in August 17 and uscis reecived mail on the 22 of august.In august 27 the case was approved and decision post. September 18 i called NVC to confirmed if case has been received the lady i spoke to told me that case has been forwarded to consulate office in mexico since on the 6 of september,that i should be receiving a notice from them within 20 days, while have not received the hard copy of NOA2.2 weeks ago i wondering the reason why we have not received the noa2 yet and decide to check uscis case status,the case change, that mail was return by the post officer.my fiance called the following day,the explaination was the address was not correct,but it was the same address that the RFE mail was received and they promise to send it again.last week i check the case,the approver date was change to september 25 and noa2 was received on the 2nd of octuber stating that we should wait for directions from the NVC,i call nvc yeterday the lady told me that nvc does not process k-visa.my questions are,has this ever happen to anyone before?is the nvc going to process the case base on the new date of the noa2?do i need to call the consulate?can i filled the DS 230 form without receiving any mail from the nvc and the consulate? What are my charges of having interview by november?i know is long story but i really need help.PLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is true NVC does not process k-1 visa's, they only check the information again to make sure everything is there before they send it to the consulate. Some times it can take up to a week or so for them to finish reviewing your information and forward it on. All you can do is wait and keep checking to see when they send it to the consulate. I am waiting on the same thing. I received my NOA2 on 9/25...NVC received on 10/1 and as of yesterday it has not been sent to the consulate yet.

Some times it can take up to a week or so for them to finish reviewing your information and forward it on. All you can do is wait and keep checking to see when they send it to the consulate. It was sent to the consulate on the 6th of september.
