It would be a little more believable if he hadn't spent the two weeks after that video leaked defending those comments.

Maybe Mitt Romney saw that changing his opinion helped him win the debate, so he thought he'd change it on this issue too.

Well, he is tugging the party line. If you are caught on camera, stall and then come out with an apology...

Give 'em the old razzle dazzle

Razzle Dazzle 'em

Give 'em an act with lots of flash in it

And the reaction will be passionate

Give 'em the old hocus pocus

Bead and feather 'em

How can they see with sequins in their eyes?

Apparently not too late - just look at the polls.

All the same too little, too late from the Mittsky...

i find no pleasure in exacerbated anxiety, so to that effect, I would rather look at the result of the ballots, instead of polls.

I highly doubt a bounce in the polls is due to his "apology"

The bounce is because he lost the debate. Oh, and the bounce is already fading somewhat.

...I would rather look at the result of the ballots, instead of polls.

A few weeks ago, the Republicans were saying that.

That's loser talk.

The Republicans will say anything they think people want to hear, or do you really believe Mittsky wish he were Mexican?

In regards to polls, I meant it seriously. Polls can make some feel good but in reality what counts are the ballots.

Then you need a reality check.

I find it ironic that one should consider an electoral poll a 'reality check'. In fact, would a poll and reality, in this case, not be an oxymoron?

I would rather wait for the results of the elections, but then again, indulging in anxiety is not my forte.

Apparently, you can use some of the reality check you recommend, yourself.

There was also around 2 minutes missing from that video... where is the REST of what he said? The media is VERY biased... so ironic, I have yet to see Obama get hit with any "hard" questions except by telemundo!! And, I agree with Romney's statements... While I am not referring to the ss receivers, the elderly, the laid off, the military personnel etc.. I am referring to a generation of people that expect the government to hand them everything (which his exactly what obama has done and plans to do if reelected.) I am 25 years old- everything I have (mortgage car etc) I got on my own without help from anyone- not even family. I don't like the government in my life.. the last thing I want is them dictating my health insurance and then taxing me if I CHOOSE not to buy it! It only passed through the house because it was not represented as a tax at the time. If you listen to romney's ideas on healthcare you might be surprised! Government is getting too big under this administration....

But back to the point I agree with what he said. America is a country of hard workers...we don't need handouts. Get up get to work and pave your way in life, stop waiting for the government to do it for you.

Polls are not real?

Well, he said that before he changed his mind from having a different opinion which disagreed with the position he held before he changed his mind.

You can agree with Romney's statements all you'd like. They're wrong, but you're allowed to agree with them. :)

he doesn't know whether he agrees with them or not. Today he doesn't, but he might again tomorrow. That's the great thing about Romney - you're bound to agree with him eventually once he changes his mind. Again.
