Any proof that can be submitted is at the discretion of the interviewing agent, weather they accept and find it to be useful or unnecessary. If you would like to take chat history/images and you feel it will help you.. then do it! I have read cases from others were they have not been asked for proof of ongoing relationship, others have submitted 500pages and been declined visa. Its better to go prepared! however the best proof is the involvement of the family with you. Taking pictures of each other spending time with the family is very strong proof of a pious and honest relationship

i printed all chat histories that i have and sent them to USCIS in a big envelope and got approved on the I-130 petition. No matter what proof that you have, just sent them to USCIS. I even copy all the cards that my husband sent to me when we just know each other. Hope its help and good luck :)

I am a big believer in sending all the proof you have.

For skype, go to the chat window. I think there is an option to view the complete chat history.

Once you have the complete list, select the entire history and paste it into the word document.

That is what we submitted. Not sure about facebook chat.
