I want to know when they are referring to household family on the poverty guideline is it only concern who we put down as dependant on our income tax or the whole family, my brother will be co-sponsor for me , he has 3 kids and a wife, but he only claim 1 kid as dependant on tax, so are they refering to only him and the person he put down as dependant, and do they add his wife on there too , or would this be a famly of 5 pls need help??

Minor children are included in the count no matter where they live or who claims them on their tax return.

If all 3 kids are his, then he has to claim them all for purposes of the I-134, whether or not they live with him. He also needs to count everyone in his household, so looks like a household size of 6: your brother, his wife, 3 kids, and the beneficiary.
