Mumbai/Delhi consulate interview tracking

Very relevant queries PGupta.... I tried calling the Mumbai, Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre using 26568000 (Ext: 8248) number because other numbers provided were not functioning and they asked me to call during day time between 10am to 3pm(IST). I called from here in US few minutes ago and it was too late so I might call them tonight to get more info on: if they accept interview letter print out or not and on what is their time frame for a normal case to be provided with medical report.

Now about the Indore medical report I think it would be best to contact vfs and ask them.

About how early medical can be done.... We can get it done anytime since we already got the interview date... your visa validity will be based off on the date of your medical. I read this somewhere online and not sure where, but if I get hold of this information I will post the link. I think its based on your vaccinations that is provided during the medical that one is good to go for the next 6months and so your visa to enter US is whithin that time frame.... So if you get medical done now ie; 2 months prior interview then your visa is valid for another 4 months from date of interview....this is just my understanding, someone please correct me if I am wrong.

These are my doubts too so I wish we get positive answers soon.

For Ahmedabad Apollo Hospital I got the appointment for 5th October and they said they will give the reports on same day at 4pm.

For Ahmedabad Apollo Hospital I got the appointment for 5th October and they said they will give the reports on same day at 4pm.

thats good, i will also ask my wife to try Ahemdabad if it is same day. Mumbai give report next day and delhi after 8 days.

I read in some other post that for adults the charge is Rs. 1600 plus any vaaccinations if you need to take. Will give a clear picture tomorrow.

Documents needed:

• Original Passport
• 2 copies of passport
• 2 copies of Interview Letter
• 3 Passport size photographs with WHITE background

If all the reports are normal then they will be given on the same day around 4-5pm

Cost would be around Rs 5000 to 7000

Fasting is not required

• 2 Passport size photographs

Cost would be around Rs. 1600 plus any vaaccinations if you need to take.

Post-visa question- do you have any idea how long does it to get your passport in your hands once visa is approved at the interview. I have heard they mail in DHL and time ranges from 1-2 weeks. I am trying to figure out ticket dates, i guess 2 weeks, to be safe? (assuming visa is approved)

I think I takes 1 week for the passport to be available for pickup.

do you know which appolo hospital in ahemdabad is near airport? or which one is at good/central location?

Near airport there is gandhinagar apollo and in center location its ahmedabad (parimal garden) apollo. Main hospital is gandhinagar so it has too much rush, parimal garden apollo is small and 2nd branch so there are less people.. There things seems to be moving faster.. I am currently getting my medical done..will give detailed review after some hours..thr are 8 other people except me to get thr medical done for spouse visa

I am not sure, but MandyBear had their interview on a Friday and via tracking online they figured it was ready by Wednesday. Now they are waiting to receive it from their registered address in Pune. She said she'll update us as soon as she receives it but I am gonna take a wild guess and say probably by this Friday, they should get it by Monday if not. So that all adds up to 1 week but worst come 2 weeks is plenty of time. I have read posts that stated 3 working days is on an average vfs's visa issue time.
