Hello VJs. Just want to ask help from this forum to give me insights regarding my k1 visa. Here's my K1 Visa Timeline:

Jan 31, 2012 - Mailed I-129F Packet

Feb 02, 2012 - NOA1 (Receipt)

Jun 22, 2012 - NOA2 (Approved)

Jul 18, 2012 - NVC

Aug 01, 2012 - Medical

Aug 15, 2012 - Notice from US Embassy Manila dated 27 July 2012

Aug 22, 2012 - Interview with USEM

- Visa on Hand

My fiancee called USEM last Sept 11 to inquire the status of my k1 visa but the agent said our papers are on Administrative Review. We don't know the reasons why coz after the interview the Consul just told me to wait for my number to be flashed in the board, then the 2go Officer told me to go home and wait for my visa. They never gave me document/s to be filled up or some documents to be submitted. We're worried about our situation coz we never know whats going on with our papers. We've been contacting the USEM (last call was Sept 25, 2012) but still got the same answer "still in Admin Review".

Just want to ask your insights if its okay to ask help from my fiancee's senator or congressman so that our papers will be processed. Thank you and God Bless!

I am only making an "educated" guess. There might have been some questions to your gal or about her/your documentation that might need to be investigated and/or verified. Admin. review can take up to 3-4 months. Sure, you can contact your congressional representative(s). Just try to keep that by the time it takes them to find out the answer(s), you will probably already know the answers, but you have nothing to lose by getting a congressman's office involved.

Best of luck!

Sid
