aos filing

hey guys i am so confused my aos is not filed yet but he will file nxt month and im so ready to start going to school on january. anyone experience about this?

Are you adjusting for k1 visa or other type of visa? If you went through the k1 visa is even easier. I file for my AoS 2 month ago and already have my work authorization and advanced parole. Just waiting for my interview. After you submmit the pckage the first month you recieve a noa1 for every aplication and you interview appointment notice for your biometric (uscis takes your fingerprints, signature and photo). After a month or 2 you recieve a notification for your appointment for the greencard. Depending of the USCIS, you can have an interview at your local office or been transfered to california and recieve the green card without an interview.
