Our journey has begun. Thank you VJ! For all the info and support and the people here that take the time to share their stories and experiences so we can find our way.

I received our NOA 1 letter, of course checked our case status on the USCIS website. They offer the option to set up an account. Is that something I should do? I submitted the contact form with my I-129F. They sent me a text and email when the received our package. I didn't know if creating and setting up the account on the USCIS website would duplicate or confuse things.

Thanks,

Steve

You can set up an account, it won't confuse things. That is how people identify "touches" which doesn't mean much, but it is there. Some people have seen status changes on the USCIS website before receiving anything in the mail or by text. It's basically one other option to get information.

Good luck in your journey.
