I peitioned my parents at the same time and now got an interview on OCT but my dad medical didn't do well so they told him they will re-schedule his interview in 2 months time. I am going to visit philippines and planning to leave 2 weeks after my mom's interview and my question is, If my mom's interview went welll and she gets her visa at the time I'm still in the philippines I want to take her with me to guam for 2 weeks. I understand her pasport will get stamped but will she be able to leave guam 2 week after arrival and come back 2 months later with my dad? I also plan to purchase a round trip ticket.

Yes that should be fine since it's only 2 months. Her passport's visa page will be stamped, and that will act as a temporary greencard.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

When was your case completed at the NVC?

About 4 days ago I received an email from NVC for their interview scheduled Oct 22.

wow that is nice my mom got the same interview date. oct 22: 6:15 am and shes IR-5 as well
