Respected Members!

I have a question. I am a husband of LPR my wife doesn't work she is a house wife living with me in( Pakistan / UK) for couple of years (since we got married). She do visit USA twice a year to see her family. Because she dont work, my brother in law sponsoring me. Now i don't know how much cash or assets he needs to show for sponsoring me. Only thing i know is he is single, 26 years old and his annual income is $60,000 plus and work full time.

Is that enough for him to sponsor me? Your advice will be highly appreciated.

thanks in advance

Regards,

Kashj

Be careful. If your wife cannot show that she is actually living in the US, not just visiting, you may not get a visa.

Lying on the forms and to the consular officer can get you (and her) a lifetime ban.

Choose your path carefully.

A person earning a salary of $60,000 ought to be able to meet the requirements as a sponsor. If he is self employed then the income amount measured may be different. Is the brother in law a wage/salary earner or self employed?
