*** Moving from CR-1 to DCF forum ****

We didn't send one, but we had a pretty straightforward case based on assets. If your income is from "odd" sources or maybe close to the poverty line but the foreigner has a job offer in the USA or whatever, a cover sheet explaining so may be a good idea.

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

It is not necessary, you take the I-864 to the interview with you so anything that needs to be explained, you are there to do it.

Thanks again Holly2234 :)

So I don't have to send all the evidence (tax forms, property valuation in the UK, proof of domicile in the US) when I submit the I-864 form?

You do need all of that along with the I-864 but there is nowhere to submit too. You simply take it all with you to the embassy on your interview date. It is only people filing in the US that have to submit it. The IR-1 and CR-1 section of the forum tends to lead to confusion on that since DCF is different. So you might have read over there that people send it away. You dont need to do that.

It's currently taking them 3-4 weeks to open and log mail. So another few weeks to go and it will all be over!
