Hi VJ's,

Did anyone had experience with NVC sending an RFE for missing DS-230 partII???

I called NVC on last friday (9/7/12) and they told me that they just finished reviewing my Wife DS-230 & AOS with documents and they found no DS-230 Part II was submitted with the DS-230 Part I.

I explained the representative that I did submitted DS-230 Part II with the all other forms and documents but he said they don't have it and they will send me an email to mail the DS-230 part II again and e-mail will be send out on Monday.

I sent the DS-230 Part II via Fedex on Friday for overnight delivery and no one was available to receive it on Saturday. Well, it was finally delivered today (Monday).

Around 4pm I received e-mail from NVC regarding missing document and it does stated:

______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 2:_______________________

Please submit a completed copy of the form DS-230 Part II, Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien

Registration - Sworn Statement, for this applicant. To download a form with complete instructions,

please visit www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov. If you would only like the form, you can download it by

visiting http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/81807.pdf.

Your visa application cannot be processed until this form is complete. We appreciate your assistance in

this matter. Please DO NOT sign the DS-230 Part II; the consular officer will ask you to sign it during

the visa interview.

I called NVC and after waiting for 35mins I spoke with a Representative and he stated that no update in the case yet and if they receive the requested document today then it will take 15 to 20 days to review and then update the case.

Really???????? It will take another 15 to 20 days to just add the missing document which was not even missing document and it was sent out with the rest of the documents :help:

Does anyone experience this kind of issue with NVC?????

We had a request from NVC for my wife's original birth certificate and I was told it would take 20 business day to process the documents. However, it just took them 5 business days to process the documents.

I hope they update my Wife case quickly with the requested document and complete the case.

Still don't understand how they missed the DS-230 Part II when I did submitted it. This is really unbelievable.

Did you staple the papers or use binder clips? Or are the papers loose?

I used binder clips. If they got DS230 Part I then they should have DS230 Part II as they were stack all together by binder clips. Not sure how they process our papers. May be someone sort out then forward to the people who review. I was thinking what happens if they lost Original document like they lost my Wife DS230 Part II form. It is hard for people to get Original document reissue in many Countries.

I called NVC today and they told me that they got all documents and the DS230 Part II and they are still reviewing the case. I asked them when should I expect the case to be complete and move ahead for a Interview Schedule.

The representative at NVC told me that they have everything they needed but some reason case still in pending status and he will escalate to the Supervisor to check and mark as complete and it will take 15 to 20 days for the Supervisor review.

Now, I don't understand why they are not completing the case and why iit has to go to the Supervisor? Does it is a good thing OR something is not right

Praying and waiting for now :(
