Hi Vjs

Since i think its taking a couple of weeks for NVC to give us our interview date after our case is complete. I would want to do the medical exam while waiting. I would just like to hear ur opinions about this. Do u guys think its best for me to wait for my inteview date or to do it even without it? :help:

I personally just want to get this medical exam over and done so i have less things to worry.

Please share your experiences and opinions about this matter. Thanks :)

My opinion:

The visa validity dates are tied to the medical exam date.

Get an earlier medical, say 3 months out from the interview date?

You have less time to transit into the USA, the 6 month window isn't available for you anymore.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

well as my experienced you should wait for your interview scheduled from NVC, no worries because the NVC will give you more time for you to be able to do your medical...what I mean is (example) NVC will send you a schedule for interview on October 10 so still have more time for you to arrange your medical from September and before your interview schedule...

GOODLUCK FELLOW CITIZEN.

Hi EsmoBem :) ! As a suggestion you better  not stop calling them to give you the Interview date since its going to take time to wait for them to do the calling to give you the date. After such time that you have the Interview date then you could have the opportunity to plan for your medical exam that's going to be 1 or 2 weeks prior to your Interview. If you're letting yourself be soo early to have the medical exam and you haven't  yet scheduled yourself for the Interview then its possibly be a problem :( to you later on for medical exam has time range for its validity.Have the Interview schedule first then all the rest will follow. It saves you the effort, time & money  .

01/09/2012 - Sent to TSC

01/10/2012 - Received by TSC, transferred to VSC

01/13/2012 - check cleared bank and email from USCIS

01/17/2012 - NOA from VSC Receipt # notice no case #

A CR-1 applicant does NOT schedule their own interview.

NVC schedules the interview....calling the NVC does not get you an earlier interview date

We are at the Mercy of NVC.
