No. The visa waiver program is totally seperate. The visa waiver program is for people from applicable countries to visit the US for up to 90 days at a time.

You apply online (ESTA- electronic system travel authorization) for the visa waiver program as opposed to having to apply and interview for a B visa.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Sorry, should have been more specific in my question. I am applying for a K1 Visa. On the DS 156 the form asks at question 30 have you ever been issued a US Visa? I have travelled to visit my fiance 7 times on the Visa Waiver program and I am wondering what Visa type to select at this question....I couldn't find this as an option in the drop down menu of visas at question 30, so I am assuming the Visa Waiver is not a Visa and so therefore I should select no? Could you please return tho to the K1 forum, thanks :)

*You have never applied and received a visa for a US embassy or consulate.

From that I think you can logically deduce that you never had a visa.

Similarly, The title of the visa waiver program should give it away, "visa waiver" and I would assume the VWP is in lieu of a visa.

Of course I could be wrong but this is what I would logically assume.
