I think you will have no problem with the consular officer. The I-129F only tells about how you met in person. If asked about it, you can expand on that answer and tell the entire story.

There is no incompatibility in the two answers because it depends upon how someone interprets question 18 as to how they answer it.

Tahoma,

He can't actually say its a misinformation.. My fiance thought its okay coz he thinks the no. 18 question was asking for when and how we started being a couple, that's his take on this so he sees no problem with the answer and signed it. I just thought it would be better if the lawyer included the part of how and when we met.. Oh well, I'll just tell the truth on my interview, explain well when I'm asked and leave everything to God.. I know He wont let me down.. He's far more powerful than the CO anyway.. :D

Thanks.

The wording of Question 18 is very specific:

18. Has your fiance(e) met and seen you in person within a two year period immediately prior to filing this petition?

Seems clear to me....they are concerning the meeting within the two year period.....NOT how you first met.

Then in the description it goes on to say: Describe the circumstances under which you met.

Meaning.....how you met within the two year period. The entire question revolves around the within the two year meeting....nothing else.

OP, you got approved regardless of your lawyer's screwing it up. You'll be able to tel the whole story, if asked, at the interview. Chill.
