hi All,

We had our interview today. Would like to thank many in here for the many help and information for the last year.

Coming in to the interview I feel that we have a pretty good case but still worry for the unexpected. This is my fifth times visiting my fiancee in the last two years.

My fiancee got the police cert. just two days before so it was a big relief because thats the only thing that was missing from our documents.

Our appt. was 9:30am which the last group. There were groups 8:30, 9:00 and 9:30. We checked in 7:45am and there were

many in lines already.

There was a guy across the street telling you to come in a shop to get a number and have your papers checked. Dont go. It has nothing to do

with the Consulate. We didnt go.

Bring extra passport photos because you will need one more to attach to the appointment paper. Also, dont forget your passport if you plan

In getting inside with your fiance. It was a long wait so its good for you to be there for her. Three couples have their fiance with them and they all got pink.

We also saw 2 applicants got pink. The rest of k1/spousal got blue.

We were second last to come to the counter for the interview. Before i always thought that the interview is in a closed room with table and chairs so this is a surprise for me.

I went to the counter with my fiancee. Here are the questions:

-how did you guys meet?

-when did you guys meet?

-when and where you guys meet in person?

-when was your engagement party?

-were any of his family members there?

-why were they not there?

-what he do for living?

-what school did he graduated from?

- i was asked this question also because my fiance gave an incomplete answer.

-when will u get married and where?

Then, Congratulations!!!

They didnt ask to show any pictures, phone bills - nothing.

They returned the original documents but keep her passport. They will send her passport and visa in one week.

Interview lasted about just 5 mins.

Earlier, we saw one girl was at the counter for over 20 minutes. She got blue. They gave her a hard time.

Her fiance has 11 brothers and sisters and they asked her their name and where they live. She remember only 5.

Another girl was asked if she knows her fiance has kids. She answered she does know. She got blue.

If you want to pass, you need to be well prepared. I got here yesterday and we spent going everything.

Good luck everyone.

Fiancée received her visa tonight.

They also gave back all the photos and evidence from

I129F package.

KoJ,

For interview, evidence we carried to the consulate:

-webcam chat screenshot

-facebook chatlog (shows how we met)

-yahoo msg chatlog ( we have about 90 pages)

-phone records from Lunex telecom (here u get a monthly statement)

-Internet phone records

-pictures together and with family members

-flight tickets and hotel receipts

-engagement ring receipt

we made 2 binders. One is for evidence before engagement and the other is for evidence after engagement.

We were lucky because they didn't ask for any evidence. We didn't have a formal engagement party(dam hoi). If they ask for our engagement party pictures, what they get is just pictures of us eating at Van Thanh resort.

The term Binders may be misleading. Keep in mind that everything must be slid through a small slot at the base of the window. Like at an overly secure gas station or convenience store. If it were in big 3 ring binders it wont slide through.

What evidence did you submit with i129F? I only submitted pictuers, flight tickets and my divorce papers. My fiancee and I are nervous whether we have everything.
