I need to book some flights on Cebu Airlines and hotels (Lotus Suites) on Agoda or on the hotel site.

The first time that I booked a flight on Philipines airlines, they would not let her on the plane without having my credit card. They did accept the number over the phone, but she was just not ready for this hassle her first time flying (she cried, I cannot have that happen again).

I need to book two trips to Manila for her and her father to escort her (one for medical and one for interview) and just do not want any problems. I will be here in the USA.

Any avice on how you did this?

Please Help.

Thanks.

Send her the money and let her book the flights, or do it yourself http://www.cebupacificair.com/Pages/default.aspx.

I've booked flights in the PI many times with credit card from USA with CP and PAL with no problems.

no.... have them book the flights... they can pay with the financials you send them... Ive also done that

from cebu to manila :)

OK, so if I book flights for her and her father, the airlines will not ask her for my credit card? Philippine airlines did this last time.

Hi mygrc :) ! As a suggestion, better let your Fiancee have a good amount to book her flight going to Manila or let someone from her family help her out in booking that flight with the help of a friend who by chance got a credit card(this what I did).Let it be an early booking of the flight so that Your Fiancee could avail a discounted airfare. She would then just print 2 valid ID's of the owner of the credit card that would be attached with the Itinerary of her flight. With regard to Hotel reservation, my Fiance had no problem using his credit card in letting me have my reservation in Lotus Garden Hotel near the US Embassy & St. Lukes.Just again let your Fiancee attached the print of your 2 scanned valid ID's with the Confirmation of the Reserved Room of the Hotel. The hotel I've stayed was a very good one  for it's got a Wireless net connection to use & its near to 2 food chains, Chow King & Jollibee so she have an optional places to go when she decided to choose an affordable meal with her Dad aside from eating expensive meals in the hotel. Well I hope your Fiancee will let herself be getting used to some hassles this time in connection to accomplishing this Visajourney for in Life we can not avoid such circumstances that allow Us to grow and learn things. It will be a great adventure for her then  . Good Luck for your Fiancee's travel!Have a Nice day! :)

I have booked flights on CEBU Pacific airlines online while I was in the Philippines and when i arrived at the ticket counter with my fiance I was never asked for my credit card, just my passport. I know that this does not apply to your situation as you will not be there. Most of the airlines and ferrys that I have read their information on request a copy of the credit card and identification if booked outside of the Philippines with a credit card. If you do book her a flight in the USA you should be prepared to comply with this requirement. If you are concerned with someone using your credit card information illegally then inform your bank that you are using your credit card to purchase airline tickets for your fiance on the specified dates and request that no other purchases originating from the Philippines are authorized. This is what I have to do if I want to purchase something in the Philippines with my credit card. I hope this helps.

you can book and pay online and let her go to nearest cebu pacific/PAL office with the booking reference and passport and ask for itinerary print out and she won’t have trouble about people asking for your credit card copy.

Not sure if this will help but. When my wife came to the US I called CitiBank and had a card sent to me with her name on it. They are the only credit card company that I have found that doesn't require Social Security number to add someone. All they wanted was her name for the card. After the card arrived at my house I sent it to my wife. After she received it I then activated it. It was great because then she had it for anything she needed also. She is a US citizen now and we are bringing her parents to the US and we just did the same thing for her father. So this may help anyone with a Citibank credit card.

I have had the same problem and its very easy. Sendthe money to them and have them get the tickets. It's so damm close on the price your talking the price of a couple SML's. If not, you can buy them a ticket on PAL and send your fiancee a copy of your credit card(both sides) and they will be ok. The payment will already be deducted, they just want to see a copy of the credit card.

On another note, both my credit unions with not authorize a payment on Cebu Pacific because of fradulant activities. I have had to always pay cash. Just a heads up, PAL no worries. Book em danno.

oh btw if you guys using western union to send money.. you can actually get a flight and pay to them too and tho its a lil bit pricey..(than normal rate) i did it couple of times.. less hassle for me. Trick is booked and pay your flight to them one week before your desired date.. for lower price.. they just gonna give you a print out of the electronic ticket(sort off) then when you go to the airport just show the paper (you have from W.U.) then you have your plane ticket. hope this one help

Send her the money and let her do it herself. People book flights every day on their own.
