yeah.....this is common, especially for first time flyers. Lots of stress.

But even if she can't find somebody beforehand. I think she will have no problem finding a friend on her flight to help her go through the process.

Interview was Aug 15th and approved. Visa is in final processing so hoping for this week.

Tell her, there is nothing to get scared. It would be most easy travel. People in USA are very friendly, and very helpful.

I had my first International travel for USA, I even had to switch the airport from JFK to LGA, and I was offered help at every step even I didnt ask. The best thing is that if she feels confused or whatever, then just let her know that all she need to ask for help, and she will get it right away!

My friend's wife is flying Manila to Ft Myers I think around Sept 9th. She went back to visit and move her ailing mother and is returning to USA. She original came to US last July so she knows how to travel. Message me and I will talk to my friend more about her flight #'s etc and try to get a meet and greet from afar.

My interview was August 15th and got my visa Saturday August 25.. I'll be flying on the 2nd of September (this coming Sunday)by Delta.. I have been looking for companion during my travel either..It will be my first time as well.. I would be glad to meet her but I think it's too soon for you guys..

I will have go to SMEF tomorrow for my sticker.. I hope your fiance will get her visa tomorrow!! God bless!!

If she doesn't find anyone tell her there will be lots of Filipino on her flight. There always is and I'm sure she will find someone to help her. When my wife came in 2008 I made sure to meet her at POE and she had two people on her flight helping her. I would have went to Manila to get her but I had just been there 2 months before. If she needs help at any airport on the way make sure she talks with someone working on her flight and they will direct her to the correct place.
