O....K

so, my EAD expires in 42 days, the lady on the phone said

its not too late and that's it's ok..(i hope she's right..)

but, i had my AOS interview on Aug 14th and only got a letter saying my case is being file reviewed and that i will receive a decision within 180 days, so no approval yet.

i thought i shouldn't take the risk of it not coming before the EAD Expiration so i decided to file for the EAD Extension.

i made a small checklist i wanted to know if that's enough.

- 2x Passport photos

- I765 form

- copy of my Florida driver license

- front & back copy of the EAD

- a copy of the letter when i got the card

- i485 receipt for 1070$ - Which means i don't need to pay any further right ?

all this to send to Dallas, TX - USCIS Location since i'm from Florida.

all good ? B-)

thank you .(!)

Hmm, what's your answer to question 16 on the I-765 form?

So, the filing address should not be the Chicago lockbox instead? Look at the instructions...

Yes, look before that part on the PDF instructions.

"File at the USCIS Chicago Lockbox facility listed below if your response to Question 16 is:

[...]

©(9) AND you filed your Form I-485 with the USCIS Chicago Lockbox facility, and your Receipt Number begins with "MSC." You must include a copy of the I-797C, Notice of Action, which shows your Form I-485 was accepted"

Is that your case? If not, nevermind. Question is, where did you file your I-485 originally?

about the copy of the i-797c notice of action which shows my form i485 was accepted, i have the one that says

"The above application/petition has been received by our office and is in process"

and at the top right it says ammount paid for the i485 (1070$)

that one is the one they want ?

i included the letter for the file review i got after the AOS interview last week..just in case

Thank you for the help...

Yes, that should be the I-797C Notice of Action (written on top of the form). Their wording is kind of tricky, it's the notice that shows your application was received ("accepted" for review) by their office.
