question about NVC process

CHoice of agent form was mailed on 08/14/12 and i called NVC today the operator said there is nothing in the system yet.

how long does it usually takes to allow me to pay the Visa fee. AOS fee was paid on 08/10/12

how long did yu have to wait to gat a case number from the NVC? I was approved on 8/7/12 still dont have a case number yet....

i was approved on july 6 got the case number on august 7 so a month

mine was approved on 07/26/12...got I-864 on 08/21/12 but still waiting for IV Packet.. its about 21-28 days from USCIS to NVC

so you need to chill a bit

Why wait for the IV packet when you can print out the forms yourself>mail out when it shows paid> so that way you are ahead of the curb...

Sorry if I am assuming that you dont have the IV packet..
