Hello everyone

I want to start this thread so it can be used for asking help about my case and also which can be used as the journal to plenty of other people.

I am going to write all the processes that i would be going through while applying for the K1 visa and also would like to get help regarding any queries and problems i encounter while doing the required process.

I hope the senior and experienced members would help me wherever needed and others could look at this thread as help or case study.

Thank You.

Some update on my situation and questions..

My girlfriend have filed the petition some 7 weeks ago now and we are now starting the preparations and getting everything ready that might require in the next stage.

1.) My fiance filed the forms and sent them the proofs but did not make two copies of the package. She does have the copy of the forms but not the proofs as there were hundreds of skype records, phone records, etc. She said i can just print them out again.. WILL THAT BE A PROBLEM?

2.) I was in UK for over 2 years and i am required to get police certificates from the countries i have lived for more than 6 months after the age of 16. I have got the certificates from UK. BUT WILL I REQUIRE THE CERTIFICATES FROM ALL THE CITIES(OR STATES) THAT I HAVE LIVED IN INDIA FOR MORE THAN 6MONTHS AFTER THE AGE OF 16? OR THERE IS JUST A SINGLE CERTIFICATE FOR INDIA AS A WHOLE?

3.) We had a miscommunication and one of the address that she put in the form while filing the petition was typed wrong. Instead of CLARENCE ROAD she typed in TLARENCE ROAD. Will that be a problem anywhere anytime?

1. No problem. The copies are for you to look over before interview and in case USCIS loose the evidence.

2. Not sure- ask in the India forum?

3. I doubt it, but you can always bring a corrected form to interview just in case.

All you would need 1 PCC from PSK ( Passport Office ). No matter even you lived in 100 cities of India.
