Hi VJers,

Not sure if this has been asked before, so apologies if already answered somewhere else.

I'm waiting on VSC for NOA2 (188 days and counting), but I want to be as ready as possible for the next phase of the process. My fiancee and I have had a relationship for the past 2 years, I travel to Colombia every 4-5 months (so 3 times at year) and I have all the passport stamps and travel itineraries (don't have the actual tickets nor hotel receipts since we stayed in our own apartment).

I can't prove ongoing (daily) communications since I installed a US-based phone at her home in Colombia (something like Magic Jack), so all the communications will show a US phone number. Will that and not having the actual ticket stubs be a problem?

Thanks for all the help.

You will be fine. The passport stamps are huge. A few photos from each time you visited. Any cards you have given her.. etc...

We had tons of stuff ready for the interview in Rio. THen they never asked for it...headbonk.gif

I actually was a little upset that they didn't ask for it. I had copies of emails, letters, phone records, photos, screen shots of skyping together, the whole 9 yards..... But, that doesn't mean anything for everyone else. Everyone should be prepared. Just get everything that you have together and send her copies once you get your NOA2. Read the consulate specific directions for K1 and make sure you include anything they ask for.

Here is English Link to consulate in Bogota.. Quite straight forward.

Good Luck

Sounds like you are good, I am sure if you really wanted you could submit the records showing the US number and explain that it is a VOIP phone line.

Good Luck.
