Im under the k-1 visa,

I just got married weeks ago and I'm planning to adjust my status so as with

my daughter which is under k-2

question:

my husband cannot meet the income requirements so we will be asking his dad to be our sponsor, what kind of affidavit of supportform shall my father-in-law

fill-in would it be i-864 or the i864a?

Your husband is your primary sponsor, and needs to file the form I-864 and provide supporting documents even if he doesn't meet the income requirements.

Your step-dad will be your joint-sponsor and will have to file the form I-864 and provide supporting documents as well.
