INTERVIEW DATE HOW LONG????

HI, MY CASE GOT COMPLETED IN NVC ON JULY 23RD AND I HAVE BEEN WAITING AND CALLING NVC ALMOST EVERYDAY TO TELL ME WHEN WILL I HAVE THE INTERVIEW AT GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR. THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY ONLY SCHEDULE INTERVIEWS THE SECOND WEEK OF EACH MONTH AND THAT UNFORTUNATELY THEY COULDN'T SCHEDULE ME ONE FOR SEPTEMBER. THOSE THIS MEAN FOR SURE I WILL HAVE AN INTERVIEW ON OCTOBER???? PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME I REALLY MISS MY WIFE I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN SUCH A LONG TIME.

Frustrating, si man, but it'll be scheduled when it's scheduled. (Please avoid typing in all caps.)

If you miss your wife and haven't seen her in a long time, be prepared to attend her interview, WITHOUT FAIL, WHENEVER it happens to be scheduled. If this means that you pay $2,000 for airfare to be there, spend it. Be in Guayaquil at least a full day before the "scheduled" interview, because the consulate plays nasty games with appointments.

yes i have read guayquil consul forms about it and of course Ill be there with my wife for the interview i hope i get one really soon do you know why it takes so long to get the interview date???? does the guayquil consul have a lot of petitions or what??? and why did you say to be a a full day earlier in guayaquil what nasty things does that consul do????

Read every word in the thread that I mentioned. Other couples have had afternoon appointments and been phoned in the morning with "Get your culos down here within an hour or you'll entirely lose your chance to interview." Fortunately, most were already in Guayaquil and could react. The consulate also often refuses to accept evidence that's brought to the interview. It also regularly separates couples for Stokes interviews. Expect to be asked graphic questions about your sex life. Those are the highlights (or lowlights). Read the thread.

Many of us have gotten hosed by this ####### consulate to some extent or another. Most who have survived thereafter followed our instructions, chiefly that the petitioner be there for the FIRST interview.

Also, for perhaps the worst published experience that any of us have had, find the consulate review by the member PDXBicycleBoy, and take every word of it to heart, si man (sigh, man).
