Hi Vjers,

Please I need help with this situation.I'm about to file for removal of conditions on my green card,and as was studying the form on uscis website I came across the change of address information and the implication if not filed.I've moved since january of this year and I never knew about this filing of change of address and now I'm about to file for ROC,what should I do people? should I go ahead and just file for the change of address even though i'm 6months late already?? Please help!!!!!

Yeah, no biggie.

A little side info; you were informed but might not have paid attention to it. It's on the i-864, affidavit of support, and also mentioned elsewhere.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

Also worth mentioning is that if your spouse is your sponsor, he/she needs to file a sponsor change of address form as well. So there are two separate change of address forms you'll need to file.

I filed my AR-11 as soon as I moved, but forgot about the sponsor form until a couple of months later. It was received and accepted without any issue.
