How Should You Answer the Questions in the Civics Test?

5 posts in this topic

I will be going to take the test tomorrow but I'm still confused about how should you answer questions that aren't asking you to give one or two of the many answers.

For example, Question #2:

What does the Constitution do?

* sets up the government

* defines the government

* protects basic rights of Americans

Because the question doesn't ask "What is one thing that the Constitution does," would I be deemed incorrect if I merely answered "it sets up the government." Or I must answer all three of the said things.

Thanks in advance for any enlightenment.

Unless they ask for more than one answer, any of those answers would be correct.

For the questions they asked one answer I memorized one or two, etc. For those that don't specify I memorized them all. I felt safer by doing this.

I converted the CD they gave me, transferred them all to my phone and it was a very tool for studying. I shuffled the tracks so I could memorize everything. Thank God I passed, it worked out very well. And I read the booklet the gave to me too, it helps you understand better what you are answering. Good luck.
