My fiance lives in Kingston Ja & I need to know how to get him to the US to visit. I'm medically unable to fly there & would like to know where to start with this process. Will my medical problems guarantee him a visitation visa?

NO

He must apply for a visior visa on his own merits. His chance of a visior visa is the same as you playing the 350 million dollar lottery and winning. Neither will know unless you pay to play or pay to apply for one.

Because we are engaged what visa other then the visitation visa should he look into? Thank you for replying.

What is that you want to do, visit, migrate, or what ?

If you'll are looking to bring him to the US so you can live your life together than you need to study the guide tab above.

I assume you are trying to meet to be able to file to bring him here

Have him try for a visitors visa, he will probably be denied. Try a couple of times.

You MIGHT be able to qualify for a meeting waiver if there is no way you can fly and he is denied multiple times for a visitors visa.

Depending on your medical condition you may be expected to take alternate transportation , such as a cruise to meet.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Yes I want him to eventual come to the US and live. I'm also retired military. I'm unable to travel at all due to uncontrollable seizures. I need him here to help me & the kids. I know money is tight for both of us so i'm trying to do this the easiest way possible

The visiting visa i believe is a joke. A way for the gvt to take ppls money. My husband applied to get one so he could meet my family before we got married. He had plans to return to jamaica with me within 2 weeks. He was denied but the man told him congratulations on ur upcoming wedding though. Visiting visas require him to prove to them that he has a reason to return. Because they r under the belief that anyone that leaves will not come back. They take the age, job, finances, assests..etc and use those things to reject u. I wish u much luck but I would say save ur money take a cruise if u can.

Dont be sour coz your fiance did not get approved.... lot of ppl in past abused that visa.

Lot of ppl who come to US on Tourist visa forget to return back home every year.

Harsh I'm no way sour when u deal with jamaica then would understand. It seems that all of us commenting that are dealing with the us embassy in jamaica all feel the same. Different countries handle things different but Jamaica makes it extremely hard for their men to get a visiting visa!

I heard it's hard also. I just want him to come visit & such. I plan on us getting married in Jamaica. But with my health problems & not being able to travel I just want my fiance to come visit. He has his son there so he isn't staying. Plus I want everything to be done 100% legal so we won't have issues in the future.
