My case was completed as of today. Anyone waiting for Interview date from Mumbai Consulate?

02/08/12 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox.

02/09/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

07/02/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

07/09/12 - NVC received case.

07/27/12 - NVC Case Number and IIN Issued.

07/27/12 - Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/31/12 - AOS bill received via email, paid online.

08/01/12 - AOS marked paid, Mailed AOS packet overnight.

08/06/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

08/07/12 - IV Fee marked paid, Mailed IV packet overnight.

08/07/12 - AOS accepted.

08/13/12 - Case completed

09/14/12 - Assigned Interview date.

What triggers DS-3032? Who informs whom?

Call NVC at 603 334 0700 to see if they have your petition. Once NVC receives your petition, they will issue a case number within couple of weeks. Once you have the case number, you can email the ds-3032. Follow the link below, It explains everything in detail.

a) why we should call NVC?

b) when does the case get transferred to India?

I'm US Citizen, my spouse is in India. I thought she will be informed by post.

1. Call NVC to find out if they issued a case number for you, If they did you can give them petitioner's and beneficiary's email. So, you can receive all correspondences by email rather than regular mail.

2. Your case only gets transferred to India after NVC issues an interview date.

07/02/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

07/09/12 - NVC received case.

07/27/12 - NVC Case Number and IIN Issued.

You should update your timeline, so we get an idea where you stand with the whole process.

subject should be ur case # - full name of the ur wife(last name first name middle name)

they wouldn't reply u right away, but they do read all email that they get.

Now try to get Inovice ID Number from NVC. so u can pay AOS and IV fee. it will take few days before u can pay.

My case was completed as of today. Anyone waiting for Interview date from Mumbai Consulate?

I called the NVC today and the operator confirmed me that they have not completely finished scheduling the September interview. Hopefully, within the next few days they may complete the September interview Scheduling for Mumbai. So, some people who are waiting for interview date (Mumbai Consulate) will get a notification before the end of this week... Others have to wait until the first week in September to know about their interview date in October.

Good Luck to everyone who are waiting for the September interview (Mumbai) date.
