Well, just starting out this fun bit of government paperwork and have a few questions. We're in the middle of getting everything filled out and signed and stressing over whether we're doing it right or not. So, my questions:

- On the I-129f, question 18, I was able to fit the information in the box on the form. How detailed should I be about that information? Such as dates, locations, etc. Should I go ahead and be super-detailed and attach an additional sheet?

- The G-325a form has an expiration date at the top of August 31, 2012. If I don't get the packet sent before then, will we have to fill out new ones?

- I can't fit some of the information (addresses) in the boxes on both forms. Is there a way to adjust font size (and if so, should I)? Or am I stuck hand writing that information in?

I think that's about it. Trying to make sure everything is perfect on this thing! Thanks in advance for the replies! I'm so glad I found this site.

#1- be clear, concise, and accurate with your answers without making it a saga. Dates, locations or good.

#2- No you will not.

#3- we actually did hand write some answers in. We also attached an addendum sheet with some answers.

"I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."

everyone go about it differently, we wrote a detailed page about everything up to our proposal including how we met, dates of trips, locations, durations and all. Other people just wrote the basic like dates, location and duration and got approved too. Its up to you to do what you want. But a little extra info wont hurt

The expiration date on the form is the least of your concern. It wont get rejected because of that, as long as the papers arent really old, you are alright.

as for additional info that can not fit, just hand write it in neat and legible.

Good luck with your Journey and welcome to VJ

I also recommend that you add a sheet with a much longer explanation of the timeline of your relationship, mine was about a page long, how we met online, when I travelled there, what we did, etc.

As for adding sheets, no problem, it's better than trying to handwrite tiny in those ridiculously small spaces. Just add a sheet, and write at the top 'I-129F Question 18 Addendum' or something like that. And make sure you also sign and date each and every page you add.

We had to add pages both for my fiances previous addresses, my previous address, and also my work history, each which got their own page when we did out G-325A forms. And one for the longer answer to question 18 on the I-129F.

Just be sure to sign them and label them clearly. Also in the boxes on the forms write 'Please see attached' or 'Please also see attached'.
