OK time for some revelation.

Nothing is wrong with getting married in this world, it is a human trait, human emotion, has nothing to do with borders, lines or politics. It is too bad that if you find the person of your dreams and he/she happens to live in another portion of the globe and you have to go through this process.

Sorry, if he/she lives next door and it is not a problem!

As a person who has waited to marry and found the person of my dreams and he/she is not from my country of origin is truly unfortunant. My friends who have maaried from around the corner are divorced.

I am sure this thread will garner some responses.

And yes, I am a government employee who will after I go through this process attempt to TRY change the process.

Maybe--------------------------I will see you in front the the Congress.

Perhaps a thread (long thread) with petition to change the procces is in order/appropriate

Welcome your feedback

What I have encountered when I have mentioned that I wish this process was easier was backlash from those who have already gone through the process and are sitting pretty with their spouses. I would think they would have more empathy because they have a first hand account of the stuggle, but that's too much to ask, hope, wish, or pray. I don't get some of these folks here... the way some of them respond is so negative and cold that I wonder how they ever got married. Of course, this is my opinion and interpretation of other's past responses to a similar plea. Take care and God bless.

Cheers!!!
