So I sent my package yesterday, I wrote down the correct address and what not. Today I'm checking my post office receipt and notice that the post office man wrote down the wrong zip code, I put "60603" and he put "60608". Will that cause a problem with delivery, should I just call the post office?

What counts is what is on the envelope/mailer. That is the address and zip code read by the machines at the sorting centers. The USPS clerk may have fatfingered the zip code in the receipt only.

I just checked the 2 zip codes on the USPS website and both are actually Chicago, IL zip codes but 60608 is for Pilsen, IL (acceptable city name for that particular area but Chicago, IL is the preferred city name). Worst case scenario would be that the package would be misrouted to the wrong city but in that case, it would still end up to the correct address. More than likely, it won't matter though because they will go by the address on the actual package so as long as that was correct, there shouldn't be any problems. :)

Just checked the tracking # and got this message "You entered:

This was because of forwarding instructions or because the address or ZIP Code on the label was incorrect. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.
