O.K. so here I go again… I had extreme anxiety from the fist process and I feel it starting again. Ok, so the NVC received our stuff on 7/30/2012, the operator told me to call back in 20 days (which I will continue to call daily) until I get what I need..

Right now I am in the process of completing the I-864 AOS. Why does the Gov’t have to make everything so confusing and why do they ask the same questions over and over (I guess to keep us on our toes)? The first set of papers took me over a month to complete, kept filing out the same forms over and over, studing them to make sure everything was right (did me some good with an NOA2 in 74 days)..

Page 1,Part 3, Question 8- So I checked two boxes. Box 1- I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in part 2 above

Right below that I checked the Yes box-Is this correct?

Page 1,Part 3, Question 9- Do I need to put my husband’s information in box A?

Page 1,Part 3, Question 10-Enter total number of immigrants you are sponsoring on this form from Part3, items 8 and 9

Thanks in advance everyone 

Right now I am in the process of completing the I-864 AOS. Why does the Gov't have to make everything so confusing and why do they ask the same questions over and over (I guess to keep us on our toes)? Sorry I had to LOL That I-864ez I did. nothing easy . I added up the you and they aalready have the 1 and I got 3. It was making me coocoo and they say"don't add anyone twice like okay fine".

Page 1,Part 3, Question 8- So I checked two boxes. Box 1- I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in part 2 above

Right below that I checked the Yes box-Is this correct? No only box 8 unless there are OTHERS, like children

Page 1,Part 3, Question 9- Do I need to put my husband’s information in box A? No because you did that in part 2. #9 is for others coming with beneficiary

Page 1,Part 3, Question 10-Enter total number of immigrants you are sponsoring on this form from Part3, items 8 and 9. If just husband thats 01.

I know its crazy. Are you the sole sponsor not using a co-sponsor? If so you should use i-864ez.

Thanks for the quick reply and the advice regarding the I-864 EZ. Yes, I am sole sponsor and I will not need a co-sponsor at this point? So it seems like I should complete the I-864 EZ. O.K. so regarding the "adding up the you and they already have the 1 and I got 3 and they say don't add anyone twice"

So what should I do, it is just me, my daughter and my husband? It won't allow me to change the 2 to a 1 do I leave my husband as 0??

I am loosin my mind errrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Is the Gov't STUPID or am I...... Geezzzzahhh :bonk: :bonk:

Really? What is the purpose of the "Yes" check box then? Someone must have been drunk when they put these forms together.

EDIT: the "Yes" check box is ticked in the VJ example I-864 document.

My wife (USC, petitioner), is having her father co-sponsor me. This is how their forms currently look:
