Call or get the USC to call DOS and ask if the visa has been issued. Will give you something to do and maybe some info.

Ooh good idea. Just called them, a nice guy guy said it was still being processed, but when I asked if everything was okay with it he said "yes ma'am". Hmmm... Will be interesting to see when others who had their interviews last week get them. Thanks guys.

I believe I've read in the past that those numbers don't work until the day of delivery

Just a quick update to everyone - My guy arrived this evening safe and sound! He's currently in the other room testing his guitars to make sure they traveled OK :)

Absolutely no problems at POE. The customs guy didn't ask any questions, he just approached with his passport, I-94, blue form and do not open packet and said, "hi I'm entering on a K1." The customs guy didn't ask any questions, just opened the packet, read through everything, circled a few things and said, "OK great." My guy said, "is that all? do you need the medical exam CD" and the customs guy said, "nope, you're done" and stamped everything.

I'm SOOOO happy!!! :) It is really true that everything goes a lot faster after the NOA2 and I'm so thankful for everyone on this board, I wouldn't have been able to do it or get through the time we've had apart without the support of everyone here! Now we have to figure out how we want to get married and work on getting a green card - yikes! I'm sure I'll be back with more questions hehe :)

What a relief to feel like you're in control of your timelines again. We're heading to Boston that week too and hope to meet up with a long time VJ acquaintance while there. Very excited to see Boston for the first time. ...and Providence and Cape Cod and wherever we decide to go.

Thanks! It is a big relief. I'm flying into Boston and then headed to New Hampshire, but on my first trip to see my fiance, back in 2010 we stayed in Boston for a few days. I really liked it. Boston has a different feel to it, than New York and I found all the people really friendly.

Hope you have a great time!
