I am just sitting here wondering out loud. Does the NVC ever call up the IRS to check out those three years tax transcripts, the petitioner's job reguarding job letter and pay stubs submitted? Just curious about how things work. Does anyone know.

Not sure about NVC but consulates do verify all the documents.

IRS Transcripts come with unique tracking number which NVC may use to check with IRS system if they are suspicious on your documents. I don't think they would call IRS on case-by-case over the phone.

I doubt they call (I was just on hold 50 minutes) and verify. I know the Embassy do at times yes like metioned when there's fraud or things just look whacked.

The reason why I wonder its because they ask for us to supply so much stuff and they take so long to process so i was wondering what their process was like. Police record, divorce decree, taxes transcripts, pay stubs, job letter, and the list go on and on. I guess once the documents submitted are up to par they process. i know the interview at the consulate is about the benificarehence the reason i did not consider the idea hat they too may sit there on the day of my interview and call up all these places to confirm the documents which apply. can't help but wonder. My husband tell me i think too much lol. But it would be nice to hear your views on this thanks
