i have been asking myself the same question. I see aprovals all over in no logical order. Certainly i dont have RFE and i dont think all those approved with NOA1 dates one month ahead of me actually appliied for expedited action. So may be some people are just lucky or perhaps their applications were part of training exercises and happened to be near enough to be used as examples for new hires.

Or may be some timelines are actually fake and therefore distorts the whole process. May be am just very anxious and the waiting is taking its toll on me now. Never been this helpless in my life. i like to to be sure of events.

i know right...i guess life is unfair so as the immigration process :bonk:

yap maybe your right some other they don't really update their timeline. this petition is driving me nuts and i'm ashamed that i didn't double check my package before sending it. now by rushing it seems that i slow the process too gggggggggrrrrrrr :bonk::crying: :crying:

The longer it takes to happen the more you'll appreciate it when it does!

I honestlt think this whole process can be streamlined many forms and many of which contain half the information provided in the other forms. one simple fomr even if four pages can do the trick. i cant cont how many ime i had to write my name, date of birth, social securtity number on all the forms. Just have one form in a centralised data base accessible to USCIS and state dpartment. thats it.

i'm just wondering how accurate the timeline here in vj. thanks guys

There are a few things that should also be remembered when evaluating the accuracy/significance of the VJ statistics:

  • The number of folks on VJ are but only a small portion of the total number of people that have submitted immigration petitions to USCIS, this minimizes statistical significance.
  • There are quite a few VJ members that do not accurately input/update their timeline information, resulting in less accurate forum statistics.
  • These statistics are estimates, and as such, are not set in stone, but rather in quicksand....lol...

There are likely other confounding factors.

YMMV.

Maybe this is part of the process??? Just a thought.....

I am not sure if I am in favor of a bigger, more centralized data base in federal government control? DHS, USCIS, DOS, HHS, FBI, DOJ, DOD, etc....
