Timeline

My husband has his K-3 interview in london in a little over 2 weeks and i have an important question. He has 2 daughters that live there in england. They will not be coming with him because their mother has refused contact with him because he is leaving the UK, will the embassy frown upon this and consider this strong family ties???? I'm not even sure what that means....plz help????!!!...thank you

01/28/04-met online via yahoo (hot diggity!!!!)

spoke on online and cam every day for over a year

04/01/05-andy comes to tennessee for 2 weeks!!!!! (double hot diggity!!!!)

06/18/05-andy comes back to stay with me for 3 months!!!!!

12/30/05-andy comes back to stay with me for 3 more months!!!!!!!

03/18/06- WE GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

04/03/06-mailed packet to texas

04/07/06-touched

04/08/06-check cashed @ texas

04/16/06- 1st NOA!!!!!!!!!!

05/10/06-mailed packet to chicago

05/12/06-touched

07/20/06-2nd NOA.!!!!!!!!!......took forever !!!!(had to send back additional info which was

some form saying youve never committed any horrible crimes!!!!!!

08/22/06-went for his medical!!!!!!!!!!

****waisted a bunch of time because we both recieved packets and got confused..he was sent

k3/ds papers and i was sent I-864 forms for cr-1....WE GOT MIXED UP!!!!!!!!!

10/03/06-hubby mailed off check list for k3 to embassy

10/12/06-hubby recieved interview date!!!!!!.............NOV 7th @ london embassy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG

11/07/06-APPROVED!!!!VISA GRANTED!!!! YAY!!!!!!!"

He just needs to explain the situation with his ex-wife if asked, but the fact that she refuses contact with him, would not have any impact on his getting his Visa. The U.S. embassy will not see his ties to his home country as a threat. He is free to return to his home country any time he wants (and if he intends to return, he must have either AP or his GC).

Sorry to hear that his ex is being so unreasonable, though. It's only the children who will suffer by being refused access to their Dad.

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

also...... i dont meet the income requirements but have the same steady job for 14 years but have no money in the bank..lol. my parents are co-sponsers and make well over the income requirements and have tons of assets....will i still be ok???

As long as you have a co-sponsor that meets the minimum poverty guidelines, you will have no problems at all.

Not to worry about the lack of money in the bank account.... after what immigration costs, not many people do!!!! haha

Seriously, they are more interested in seeing that your husband has a sponsor and co-sponsor which meets the poverty guidelines.

As for how many bank statements.... I can't remember what the I-134 requires, but I'm sure it will say in the instructions that go with the form (online).
