Just curious - what is an "IV Bill?"

The VISA payment. This is the packet that has all about the beneficiary and you have to send in police report, birth certificate, DS-230 form, Biograpgical page from passport and passport pics.

You should be reading the guides here dear http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/375609-nvc-filers-july-2012/

Have no idea when you got approved and went to NVC but read that first post full of guides and information

IV fee bill has decreased. Ask him to laugh some more, as he's getting a good deal now, compared to last year (when it was more expensive).

Laugh and laugh and laugh.

Prolly best, though, if you study the NVC Stuff, from NVC..

DS-230 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3190.html

I-864 - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3730.html

General NVC stuff - http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1335.html

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
