Hello everyone. Newbie here, but I've been lurking and have read everyone's story. Congratulations to all the successes!!! Here's my story:

Application Sent - July 26th, 2012

Application received - July 30th, 2012

Biometrics done - August 22, 2012

EAD Approved - September 27, 2012

Interview appointment letter received - Not received or heard anything.

Interview appointment - Date unknown. Local office -- Atlanta, Ga

I am extremely worried because my husband purchased tickets for me, him and our little girl to go home to Zambia, Central Africa for December 7, 2012. I had hoped we'd have heard something from Uscis by now but absolutely nothing....encouragement needed...be gentle please...already heavily depressed...thanks :-(

Welcome!

Interviews are schedule at least 30 days in advance so you have plenty of time. If you don't hear anything by the end of the month, then you can start worrying. I'm sure you'll hear something before then though..

Day 000- 07/24/2012 - I-130 & I-485 concurrently filed (including I-765) and mailed to Chicago Lockbox.

Day 003 - 07/27/2012 - AOS Package received by Immigration.

Day 006- 07/30/2012 - 3 Texts and 3 email confirmations from USCIS for receipt of I-130/ I-485/I-485/I-765

Day 008- 08/01/2012 -3 NOAs for above received in mail.

Day 010- 08/03/2012 - Recieved ASC Appointment Notice for Biometrics on 08/22/2012 @ 10:00 am.

Day 029- 08/22/2012 - Biometrics at ASC Atlanta, Ga

Day 058 - USCIS CLAIMS to have sent out an Interview letter on this date. Never received the letter

Day 059- 09/21/2012 - Call to USCIS requesting service from L2 officer. Promised response in 5 days.

Day 065- 09/27/2012 - Text confirmation of EAD Card Production.

Day 071- 10/03/2012 - Text and email confirmation of EAD Card mailed to address on file.

Day 071-10/03/2012 - Text and email confirmation of USPS picking up mail.

Day 077- 10/09/2012 - Called USCIS to see if interview letter had ever been sent out (on advisement from helpful VJ member). L2 Officer comfirms that an interview letter was sent out on 09/20/2012. Advised to call USCIS 5 days before interview date to get a faxed copy of letter...???

Day 092- 10/24/2012 - Interview...APPROVED. Thank YOU, LORD!

Day 099- 10/31/2012 - GREEN CARD RECEIVED. What a wonderful feeling!

I filed on Early May and I just had my interview 2 weeks ago.

You are way too early to start panicking. :P

Hi Deblogs! Right now we're in the same situation! I have not received EAD or interview...none of them which is even worse :( Me and my husband bought tickets to Brazil for Dec. 18, and at this point Im extremely anxious and worrued! Unfortunately we cannot do anything about it! I wish you good luck!

We had our interview this morning in the Columbus, Ohio office. The officer was an older white lady. A middle aged black female officer sat in the room but didn't say anything.

We were interviewed separately. I (the USC) was first.

She asked me details about my daily routine, the bedrooms in our house, how we met, details about my kids... She asked to see extra evidence, and I gave her our lease, bank statements, letters of support. She went through our photos and smiled and laughed at a few of them. She asked about one with his parents in it and asked who they were and then commented, "Oh, so you've met his parents." And I said, yes, several times. I was in there with them maybe 15 minutes.

Then they took my husband in the room alone. He was also in there for about 15 minutes. From his report, they asked him the same type of details about our house, routine, kids... All of our answers matched, of course, because it's pretty easy to answer questions about your own lives. B-)

We have a 20 year age gap and, strangely enough, they didn't ask either of us us one question about it. It wasn't even mentioned at all. :huh:

When my husband was done, she took his I-94 and told him he didn't need it anymore because he's not currently studying. She told him that she needed to review paperwork before she makes a decision. He came out alone and said we are done and we left. At no point during the process were we interviewed together, which I thought was strange??

The interviewer was really nice and friendly, which was a plus.

We do not have "card under production" yet...

Yep. Its Card Production, then it goes back to Decision then back to card production so you will get another card production email today. Usually its 2 days after Decision. I'm sure yours was at Card Prodiction but I'm assuming you didn't check your status on that day but you are good to go. No worries...:)

Thank you.. I hope you are right. Our interview was last Friday and I was checking our status like a maniac and haven't seen card production there. I hope I missed it. When its under Decision, it doesn't say the words we want to read: YOU ARE APPROVED! Though, they say that they made a decision and are sending a letter; to follow the instructions in the letter, and to allow 60 days to receive the card..

I am happy interview is over but I really want to have my card in my hands LOL. As everyone does biggrin.gif

The interview was so fun. IO is awesome.

I-130 Approved for bona fide marriage. Because both of her Biometric attempts were rejected, we need to send in Police clearance before he could approve the I-485. It's pretty much done. No more interview.

Day 02 - 07/26/2012 - Package delivered by UPS.

Day 13 - 08/06/2012 - Receipt Numbers are track-able on USCIS website.
Day 18 - 08/11/2012 - Biometrics Notice received (Dated: 8/8, Appointment: 8/29)
Day 20 - 08/13/2012 - Walk-in biometrics done.
Day 24 - 08/17/2012 - Received 4 NOA letters.
Day 27 - 08/20/2012 - 2nd Biometrics Notice received. Same day walk-in biometrics done.
Day 41 - 09/03/2012 - Email and txt notification of interview.

11/06/2012 - I-485 Approved. Card production email received.
11/09/2012 - Email notification. Card picked up by USPS.
11/15/2012 - GC received. Correct name. Still wrong country of birth.

Lol. I guess I'm right on after all...:) The next update would be GC mailed in 2-3 days. You will receive the Welcome letter and I-130 approval notice in the mail prolly tomorrow or Friday ( based on my timeline)
