Hello All,

I'm very very disappointed with the processing.. Petitioners that filed after us have been getting APPROVED FOR I-130 NOA2. I just received a NOTIFICATION STATING....

The status of this service request is:

Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.

*A notice of action may be in a form of Approval Notice, Denial Notice, Transfer Notice, Request for Evidence, Notice of Intent to Deny or Notice of Intent to Revoke.

If you have any further questions, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283.

Basically I've just been hit in the gut so hard.. I'm waiting another month and a half... Makes me wanna just scream!! :crying:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh

I think you should hear good news soon.

I agree with you! I think when they tell people to expect a response within 45 days it's just to avoid further emails/service requests/phone calls, so basically they buy themselves more time so I'm sure you will hear something before the 45 days is up, insha'allah.

I would start screaming though if they request evidence. It's not bad enough that our applications have been collecting dust for the past 6 months. Pffft.

I forgot to ask, what was the date when you sent the service request?

On 7/02/2012.. I called USCIS at 5 1/2 months and was advised to call back in July if I didnt hear anything.. So, I did.. Then 45 days processing from my Notification yesterday.

I got the same notification after upgrading my case from LPR to citizenship on 7/6/12.

Let's see who will get approved first. Keep us update.

Thanks!

I'll keep you all updated... Inshallah.. Hoping to hear great news soon. :)

Did a Service Request on 15 June 2012 and got same response. Have not heard anything till now.

Also contacted Congressman on 4 June 2012. They replied that the petition is with an immigration officer and is currently under review. Should receive a notice of action within 30-45 days. Nothing so far. It will be 45 days on 23 July so let's see what happens.

Note: Contacting Congressman does not really ensure that you will get your NOA2 in any form. At least it did not really work in my case as of yet.
