K1 to AOS documentation question

Just really brief question

We are going through the K1 process right now. I have sent my fiancee a huge binder of documents / proof of relationship / etc. It's literally about 2 inches thick.

When she comes to the US, can she scrap some of these documents? I know the "safe" answer is to keep everything, but when we're moving everything of hers over here every pound/kg pretty much counts.

I have seen we need the NOA2 letter and medical exam papers for the AOS.....Is there anything else she needs to hang on to? Of course she will have her passport with her

I made a PDF copy of everything before I sent it over. That way I would have everything archived in soft copy for future. And I only sent copies of K1 petition, NOA1, NOA2, my birth certificate, etc.

Best solution to avoid the extra weight is simply to scan the pages and put it on a secured flash key/memery stick.

I'd keep all originals(boarding cards, receipts etc.) and of course her personal documents that can't be replaced. The rest of it(including the petition) can be on the memery card/flash key so you'll have back up when you need an extra hardcopy of something. Its weight is about a couple of gram.

I have backup from the petition itself but from now on, I don't really need proof of ongoing relationship prior to my POE.

We got rid of a lot of paper after she successfully got her visa. Obviously, we kept all originals. I burned a data CD with all of our data, I had previously saved the data in PDF format.
